ELIGIBILITY - Hold citizenship in both a Japanese official development assistance (ODA) qualifying country and an ADB member nation. - Not possess dual citizenship with any advanced nation. - You currently live and work in your nation of origin. - Possess a minimum of two years of full-time work experience following graduation from college. - Show that you can write and speak English well. - Be under 35 years old when submitting an application. - Not be enrolled in a graduate program at this time. - Typically, possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree earned domestically. - Not going to get another master’s degree. - Have annual family incomes of no more than US$50,000 and annual individual incomes of no more than US$25,000. Those that are chosen will have to present a Certificate of Income.
BENEFITS - Full Tuition Coverage: All tuition fees are covered for the duration of the scholarship. - Living Expenses: A Monthly living allowance of approximately 144,000 JPY is provided to cover living costs. - Study Materials and Research Allowance: Financial support is available for purchasing study materials and conducting research. - Medical Insurance: Comprehensive medical insurance is included. - Round-Trip Airfare: Economy class round-trip airfare is covered, allowing students to travel to and from Japan. - Please note that the scholarship is initially awarded for one year.
