Only students from Africa and India are eligible for the Aston University Ferguson Scholarship, which awards full scholarships of £22,500 for the 2025 - 2026 academic year. The Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust, founded in 1979 by John and Elnora Ferguson to improve educational possibilities for students who might not otherwise study in the UK, provides funding for these scholarships.

The Ferguson family’s dedication to peace, education, and eradicating poverty in underdeveloped nations is reflected in the Trust. For years, John and Elnora worked to enhance teaching methods, promote empathy, and help communities all around the world live securely and contentedly.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A conditional or unconditional offer for one of the approved courses is required of applicants.
  • The individual must be an Indian or African national.
  • possess a 2:1 degree or its equivalent in a field related to the course of choice.
  • Include a compelling personal statement with your application for the course.
  • The pupil must pay for themselves.

Reward: Full Scholarship worth £22,500 with an additional £6,000 for living expenses
