ELIGIBILITY - Requirement for Citizenship:Candidates must not be citizens of Germany. - Qualifications for Education:You must have a Master’s degree that was conferred after March 1, 2020, or be nearly finished with one. - Condition of the Home:You must not have resided in Germany continuously prior to December 1, 2024. - Doctoral Status Candidates must not hold a PhD. - Proficiency in Language:Admission to Freie Universität Berlin requires proof of English ability, with a minimum level of B2.

BENEFITS - A Monthly living allowance of €1,300 is provided to cover living expenses during the PhD program. - Financial assistance for domestic or international academic travel is known as a travel allowance. - Insurance Coverage: Liability, health, and accident insurance are offered. - Study and Research Funding: Assistance in scholarly endeavors and investigations. - Material Resources: Books, equipment, and other essential resources cost €1,000 year. - Rent and family allowances: extra assistance, if needed. - Pre-sessional German Course Support: Help with language preparation prior to beginning coursework. - International Research Mobility: Up to 25% of the scholarship duration is spent overseas.
