The China Link Scholarship Program 2026 is a fully financed opportunity for young researchers and international students to pursue academic and research endeavors in China, provided by the China Scholarship Council. The program’s objectives are to foster long-lasting relationships between Chinese and foreign researchers, advance cultural interchange, and strengthen international academic cooperation.

Full tuition, free on-campus housing, complete health insurance, and an annual stipend of CNY 42,000 are all covered by the scholarship. It gives gifted people from all over the world a great opportunity to work with top Chinese institutions and obtain research experience.

This program fosters mutual understanding and scholarly exchange, assisting participants in their professional growth while supporting global research and innovation.

Eligibility Criteria

  • B.A non-Chinese national with strong academic achievement, moral integrity, and good physical and mental health is required.
  • For ordinary scholar applications, the applicant must be under 45.
  • For senior scholar applications, the applicant must be under 50.
  • During the application and stay in China, you must be a full-time student or academic staff member at a CSC partner university.
  • An invitation or letter of acceptance from a Chinese host university is required.

China is the host nation.
