ELIGIBILITY - The CSC Master’s and PhD scholarships in China are open to applicants from all around the world. - Candidates have to be nationals of a nation other than the People’s Republic of China. - Candidates for master’s and doctoral programs must be at least 35 and 40 years old, respectively. - Applicants must have an exceptional academic record and a bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) in order to be considered for a master’s program. - Candidates for the PhD program should be highly qualified academics with a Master’s degree (or its equivalent). - All applicants must be in good physical and mental health in order to be considered for the Chongqing Scholarship. - In order to maintain their eligibility for the CSC Scholarship, applicants cannot hold another scholarship at the same time. - An IELTS score of 6.5 or higher, a TOEFL score of 80 or higher, or an equivalent proficiency score is necessary for programs taught in English. - Results of English proficiency tests are not required to be provided by native English speakers. - Candidates must take the English test administered by CQUPT in May if they do not have the necessary English test results. - An HSK Level 4 or higher is necessary for programs taught in Chinese.
