ELIGIBILITY - Candidates must have a Master’s degree in the natural sciences, medical sciences, biological sciences, or a closely connected field, or an equivalent credential (such as an MD, diploma, etc.). - A Master’s thesis, research internships, or laboratory-based projects are examples of relevant research experience that candidates should possess. - Proficiency in English at the C1 level is necessary. Although submitting a proof of official English proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.) is not required, candidates must clearly demonstrate their fluency. - Medical graduates may also apply if they can show that they have a significant amount of research experience in their discipline.

BENEFITS - Complete financial support Position: TVL-13 (65%) employment contract with a gross monthly pay of about €3,009, which includes social benefits. - The three-year program has the potential to be extended until the PhD is successfully completed. - Low Fees: There are no tuition fees; the only social contribution is about €335 per semester, which includes the Deutschlandticket for public transport throughout the country. - Participation in journal clubs, structured lectures, seminars, and specialised soft-skills workshops provide comprehensive training. - Career development includes access to professional networking opportunities and mentoring programs, as well as an annual travel stipend of €1,500 for international conferences. - International Support: Help with cultural assimilation, health insurance, lodging plans, and visa applications. Additionally, free German language instruction is offered. - Support for Families and Students with Disabilities: Personalised support services and family-friendly policies.
