KEY DETAILS

ELIGIBILITY - PhD candidates must have begun their studies no more than three years prior to the application deadline. - Doctorates must have been earned within the four years prior to the application deadline for postdoctoral researchers. - Special Fields: According to the official DAAD rules, applicants in the fields of dentistry, veterinary medicine, and human medicine are subject to additional regulations. - Residency Requirement: Candidates are ineligible if they have been in Germany for more than 15 months as of the application deadline. - Host: Germany’s DAAD. - Europe as a Study Abroad Destination. - Scholarships for Postgraduate and PhD Programs. - All countries are eligible. - Reward: Complete scholarship that includes:. - A monthly allowance of €1,400. - Travel expenses. - Accommodations and family benefits. - No IELTS is required for language proficiency. - Benefits :. - Scholarship payments of 1,400 euros per month. - For a grant period longer than six months, contributions for health, accident, and personal liability insurance cover travel expenses: 460 euros for research. - After funding begins, you may be eligible for the following extra benefits under specific conditions:. - Monthly allowance for family members who accompany you, only for a funding period longer than six months; monthly rent subsidy, only for a funding period longer than six months.
