The DGIST Summer Research Internship 2026 in South Korea is now accepting applications. International students from all around the world are welcome to enroll in this fully sponsored summer program. The internship will take place at the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST) for six weeks, from June 29 to August 7, 2026.
Undergraduate and graduate students interested in obtaining research experience in a vibrant academic setting are eligible to apply. Working closely under the guidance and supervision of DGIST faculty members, participants will have the chance to investigate a variety of research areas available at the DGIST Graduate School. The purpose of the internship is to expose students to cutting-edge scientific and technical innovation, foster academic collaboration, and improve research abilities.
The curriculum gives students the opportunity to learn more about the customs and heritage of Korea through a variety of cultural experiences, field trips, and scheduled tours, in addition to academic and research activities.
