ELIGIBILITY - Candidates must be accepted into one of ECU’s PhD, Integrated PhD, or Master by Research programs. - The proposed research project needs the approval of a major supervisor. - The start date for PhD candidates must be prior to May 8, 2026; for Integrated PhD or Master by Research candidates, it must be during the first semester of 2026. - Candidates cannot have been awarded an Australia Award or AusAID scholarship in the previous two years. - The annual income of applicants for the RTP Stipend Scholarship cannot be more than 75% of the $35,000 2025 ECU RTP basic stipend rate.
BENEFITS - Full Tuition Coverage: All Tuition fees are paid by the program for the length of the degree. - Stipend: To help with living expenses, receive a stipend of AUD $35,000 year, paid every two weeks. - Relocation Allowance: To help with moving expenses, domestic students may qualify for financial aid. - Support for Health Coverage: Overseas Student Health Coverage (OSHC) can be partially reimbursed to Overseas applicants. - Research Community: At ECU, you have the chance to participate in a vibrant and cooperative research environment. - Professional Development: To improve research and job abilities, take advantage of specialized training courses, workshops, and mentorship.
