ELIGIBILITY - All nationalities worldwide are eligible to apply for the fellowship. - At the time of application, candidates must be younger than 35. - A degree in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences from an accredited university is required of applicants. - In order to promote fresh, multidisciplinary ideas, the proposed project must be different from the applicant’s prior research or academic activity. - Candidates must provide a detailed explanation of how their proposed project differs from previous work, such as books, published essays, or master’s theses.

BENEFITS - During the fellowship duration, a €10,000 stipend is given to cover living expenses. - The chosen fellow will receive round-trip flights to and from Germany. - The Garden Cottage at Albert Einstein’s summer home in Caputh offers free lodging and a tranquil setting for study and artistic endeavors. - Although family members are welcome to go with the fellow, the fellowship does not pay for their travel expenses.
