Eligible Study Fields at ENS

  • Anthropology, Archaeology, Classical Studies (Greek, Latin), Film Studies, Theatre Studies, History of Art, Musicology, Cognitive Sciences, Economics, Political Studies, Geography, History, History and Philostatement of purposehy of Law, History and Philostatement of purposehy of Science, Linguistics (language sciences), Literature, Philostatement of purposehy, Sociology. Candidates choose one of these disciplines.
  • Sciences: Biology, Chemistry, Geosciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Cognitive Sciences. Applicants should choose a major discipline (mandatory) and a minor discipline (optional).

The ENS International Selection Competition consists of 2 oral tests.

  • Scientific oral of at least (One Hour)
  • Scientific culture interview (45-60 minutes)

  • The ENS Scholarship is open to First-time applicants only.
  • Proof of previous educational records is required.
  • Apply before you reach your 26th birthday.
  • Not residing in France for more than 10 months in the past two years.

  • Motivation Letter (1 to 3 pages)
  • Research Project of 3 pages maximum (10,000 characters including spaces)
  • All these documents must be in PDF and must be named “Family Name-Given Name.pdf.”.

  • The ENS International Selection Competition consists of 2 oral tests.
