Objective of the Noha
The NOHA Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s degree programme in International Humanitarian Action (NOHA) is designed for individuals who are currently working or intend to work in the humanitarian field, welcoming applicants regardless of their race, religion, age, or geographical origin.

Program Structure
- NOHA Intensive Program: Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany
- 1st Semester (Foundation Period): Home university
- 2nd Semester (Specialisation Period): Any of the NOHA universities (Host university).
- 3rd Semester (Contextualisation Period): This section covers two parts:
- Regional Training (30 ECTS)
- Locations: Offered across 11 partner universities in the Middle East, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Asia & Pacific, Africa, Latin America, and North America (e.g., Jordan, India, Thailand, Colombia, USA).
- Work Placement (30 ECTS)
- Career Development Training (10 ECTS)
- Placement (20 ECTS)
- Location: Home university/Partner university/Humanitarian organisation
- 4th Semester (Research Period): Home university.
