Program overview

Full description, requirements, and what to expect

For international students worldwide, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) Scholarship 2026 in Germany offers complete funding. Up to 40 gifted students are chosen annually to pursue bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degrees in practically every academic field. Recipients receive complete financial assistance as well as seminar programs that enhance their social and academic skills.

Students at almost every level of higher education are supported by the scholarship, including doctoral research, accredited Master’s programs, and first-degree undergraduate courses. However, several disciplines are not included, including postdoctoral research, occupational training programs like physiotherapy, and medical studies conducted before the preliminary test.

With its emphasis on social interaction and academic success, the FES Scholarship offers not only the financial means to study in Germany but also the chance to develop both professionally and personally in a thriving academic and cultural setting.
