ELIGIBILITY - Candidates must be residents of a country other than the UK, Switzerland, or the EU/EEA. - Eligibility Check: Prior to applying, candidates must verify that they are qualified for the program and scholarship. - University Offer: Candidates must have gotten an offer from an Irish university that qualifies. - International Fee Status: Candidates must be categorized as students who pay international fees. - Language Requirement: English or Irish must be used for applications. - References: The applicant must receive favorable references from supervisors and referees. - Reapplication Limit: Applicants are not permitted to reapply for the same program if they have been denied this award twice. - Prior Scholarship Use: Candidates are ineligible if they have previously received an Irish Research Council scholarship. - Programs Eligible: Postgraduate certificates, PhD degrees, research programs, and master’s degrees are all eligible for the award.
