ELIGIBILITY - Candidates must be nationals of nations with whom Brazil has bilateral cooperation agreements. - While applicants for a Ph.D. program must have a Master’s degree, candidates for a Master’s program must have a recognised undergraduate degree. - Because all academic activities and courses are conducted in Portuguese, proficiency in the language is required. - Before applying, candidates must have received formal acceptance from a Brazilian Higher Education Institution (HEI). - This fellowship program is not available to those conducting research for military uses or purposes.
BENEFITS - Monthly living allowance: During their study stay in Brazil, recipients are given a monthly stipend that is intended to cover living expenses such as lodging, meals, and local transportation. - Health Insurance Support: To guarantee access to emergency services and medical care while they are visiting, scholars receive full health insurance assistance. - Foreign airfare: After the student completes the program, they will be able to travel from their home country to Brazil and back thanks to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ (MRE) round-trip foreign flight coverage. - Academic assistance: Throughout their studies, students receive complete academic and institutional assistance, which includes access to university resources and facilities, research guidance, and academic supervision.
