ELIGIBILITY - Overseas applicants from all nations are eligible for the award, with the exception of nationals of Japan. - In order to be eligible for funding from the Honjo International Scholarship Foundation, candidates must be enrolled in graduate programs in Japan or plan to enrol in one starting in September or October of 2024. - If they intend to enrol during the designated term, both current students and prospective enrolees - including those who are currently employed - are eligible to apply. - Students who enrol in professional graduate schools are typically not accepted unless they have a research goal. - The maximum age limit for applicants to PhD programs is 35 years, and the maximum age limit for applicants to master’s programs is 30 years. - Upon graduation, candidates ought to be adamant about wanting to support their own country. - It is necessary to have a demonstrated understanding of global friendship and kindness. It is encouraged to take part in alumni networks and foundation events. - Conversational Japanese proficiency is required because interviews will only be held in Japanese.

BENEFITS - In addition to paying tuition, the Honjo scholarships for 2024 offer a Monthly living allowance to help with living expenses for the course of the program. - Monthly payments for the scholarship include ¥210,000 for one or two-year degrees, ¥190,000 for three-year degrees, and ¥160,000 for four or five-year degrees. - The scholarships include provisions for travel expenditures, namely for going to academic conferences and conferences abroad, networking, and providing opportunities for learning. - Without having to worry about money, scholars may concentrate on their academics, allowing them to achieve academic success and make the most of their schooling. - Recipients of the Honjo Foundation Scholarship join a global network of scholars. - Recipients can fully immerse themselves in the dynamic cultural landscape of Japan by residing and studying there. - The scholarships provide a full range of intellectual, personal, and cultural enrichment opportunities in addition to financial aid. - Apply Button.
