ELIGIBILITY - Before the scholarship period begins, you must be enrolled in or have been accepted into a Japanese graduate school. - Should be enrolled in a doctoral or master’s program in Japan. - The application must explicitly state the long-term ambitions, academic plans, and research objectives. - All required documentation must be submitted via the official online application portal. - Cannot hold another scholarship and still be eligible for the Honjo Scholarship.
BENEFITS - Students participating in programs lasting one to two years will get ¥230,000 per month. - ¥210,000 per month is given to students enrolled in three-year degree programs. - Students enrolling in programs longer than three years are allotted ¥180,000 per month. - The entire minimum needed duration of the student’s graduate degree is covered by funding.
