Nominations are open for the IUSSP Early Career Award 2027 from the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population (IUSSP). The award, established by the IUSSP Council in 2023, recognises outstanding contributions to population studies by early-career scholars across world regions and raises the global visibility of their work.
One award is bestowed per region - Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, and North America - in collaboration with UAPS, APA, EAPS, ALAP, and PAA. Awards are given every other year; the next set will be announced in 2027. Nomination deadline: 1 November 2026.
