ELIGIBILITY - Belong to a nation that is a member of the African Development Bank (AfDB). - Be under 35 years of age. - Possess a bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) in a related discipline, such as engineering, energy, agriculture, health, environmental sustainability, or a similar field, along with a track record of academic excellence, pertinent work experience, and a track record of supporting the growth of your nation. - Have completed your bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) within the last three years, and have worked for at least a year in your native country or in other African countries. - You now live and work in your native country; you have never lived or worked elsewhere. - Not be enrolled in a graduate program at this time. - Not work for the African Development Bank Group as an executive director, alternate, employee, or a close relative of any of these people. These are the definitions of “close relative”: mother, father, sister, brother, half-sister, son, daughter, aunt, uncle, niece, or nephew. - After completing your education, you commit to returning home to support the social and economic advancement of your native nation.

BENEFITS - Tuition reimbursement for the full 24-month study program duration. - A living allowance of 144,000 JPY each month, or around $11,420 annually, for the duration of the study. - Air travel costs for flights from your country of residence to the host university at the beginning of the program and back after the scholarship is over. - Health insurance, usually supplied by the college. - Six more months for internships or preparatory coursework after graduation. - A unique grant for research and thesis preparation may be granted to researchers who are engaged in research. - In some circumstances, the scholarship may also pay for costs associated with computer literacy, language preparation classes, and other related educational endeavours. - Apply Button.
