  • Note — Candidates for doctoral degrees must hold a master’s degree.
  • Also, Applicants for master’s programs must either have earned a bachelor’s degree or be on track to do so at the time of enrollment.
  • Plus, The bachelor’s degree needs to be on par with a bachelor’s degree from South Korea.
  • Requirement: Parents of applicants of Korean ethnicity must not be citizens of South Korea, and applicants must have completed all previous schooling outside of the country.
  • To be eligible for the KAIST University Scholarship, candidates must meet the language proficiency standards in English.
