Candidates may apply from any countries as long as they are not citizens of Korea.
Note — Candidates for doctoral degrees must hold a master’s degree.
Also, Applicants for master’s programs must either have earned a bachelor’s degree or be on track to do so at the time of enrollment.
Plus, The bachelor’s degree needs to be on par with a bachelor’s degree from South Korea.
Requirement: Parents of applicants of Korean ethnicity must not be citizens of South Korea, and applicants must have completed all previous schooling outside of the country.
To be eligible for the KAIST University Scholarship, candidates must meet the language proficiency standards in English.
