An intellectually active community of international students committed to integrative study, scholarly research, and social service is supported by Duke University’s Karsh International Scholarship 2026.

The initiative, which was created in 2010 thanks to a kind donation from Martha L. and Bruce A. Karsh, honors the exceptional contributions made by foreign scholars to the university community.

The award offers complete financial assistance, including books, living expenses, tuition, housing, and even a laptop.

The best applicants exhibit outstanding academic performance, a keen interest in learning, the capacity for leadership, and an obvious need for money. The program looks for individuals who are dedicated to using their education and future pursuits to significantly change the world.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The student must be from abroad.
  • must have both confirmed financial need and exceptional academic achievement.
  • A B.A. or B.S. degree must not have been obtained prior to enrolling at Duke University.
