ELIGIBILITY - Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must be pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree at this time, or be employed as postdoctoral researchers in a related field. - Academic Background: To ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to support KOPRI’s research, candidates should have a solid academic background in polar science, environmental studies, climate change, marine biology, or other related fields. - Research Potential: Candidates must exhibit outstanding academic achievement as well as the capacity to carry out superior scientific research in their domains. - Research Proposal Requirement: In accordance with KOPRI’s ongoing projects, a thorough and organized research proposal is necessary. The study’s goals, methods, anticipated results, and applicability to polar and climate studies should all be highlighted in the proposal.

BENEFITS - Round-trip airfare: To ensure the researcher has a smooth journey, the fellowship pays for the price of an economy-class round-trip ticket to and from South Korea. - Housing and living expenses: Fellows will receive complete coverage for housing and assistance with everyday living expenditures, freeing them up to concentrate only on their study. - Research funding: Fellows are able to carry out excellent, in-depth investigations that are in line with KOPRI’s initiatives thanks to financial support for laboratory work, field studies, and other research-related activities. - Monthly living allowance: To ensure the researcher’s financial stability during the study period in South Korea, a stipend is awarded each month to help with personal expenses. - Apply Button.
