Program overview

Full description, requirements, and what to expect

Apply for the Mozilla Foundation Fellowships 2027-2028 (up to $125,000) - 10 twelve-month fellowships for builders creating better technology futures that are powered by people, open by design, and fueled by imagination.

Mozilla seeks extraordinary individuals working on technology that is too early, too unexpected, or too ambitious for conventional funders. Fellows join a global network of 200+ alumni. The primary review is at the Letter of Intent stage; only a small number of shortlisted applicants are invited to submit a full application in early 2027.

Letter of Intent deadline: 17 December 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. Fellowships begin 1 June 2027. This Opportunity Station guide is original copy based on the official Mozilla Foundation 2027 call. It is not a reprint of any third-party blog.
