Program overview

Full description, requirements, and what to expect

International students can pursue undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and research studies at one of China’s most esteemed universities with full funding thanks to Peking University’s Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) Bilateral Program (Type A). This initiative, which is run by the China Scholarship Council (CSC), aims to improve mutual understanding between China and nations across the world, foster cultural interchange, and develop international academic cooperation.

Selected students have the opportunity to attend Peking University (PKU), a highly regarded university in Asia renowned for its top-notch instruction, research, and innovation, thanks to this prestigious scholarship. The Chinese Ministry of Education collaborates with governments, academic institutions, and international organizations worldwide to offer the Bilateral Program (Type A).

In order to be eligible for the PKU Bilateral Program, candidates must apply for the scholarship through the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in their home country after submitting their admission application to Peking University.

For overseas students looking for a fully supported education at China’s top university, the Peking University CGS Bilateral Program (Type A) provides a remarkable route. The program prepares students to become future leaders, researchers, and innovators in their areas through extensive financial support, exposure to the world, and exceptional academic opportunities.

To increase their chances of being chosen, prospective applicants are urged to start their PKU application early, carefully prepare all necessary paperwork, and adhere to the embassy’s scholarship deadline.
