ELIGIBILITY - Overseas applicants between the ages of 11 and 19 are welcome. - Participants must be enrolled in elementary or secondary education, including homeschooling. - Students in universities or colleges are ineligible. - There will be individual first, second, and third place winners for each of the two age groups in which entries will be judged. - Ten-year-olds who turn eleven by March 2, 2026, are eligible to take part. - Proof of identity, age, or enrollment in school may be requested by organizers. - The contestant must be the only creator of the original artwork. - Characters from movies or cartoons, previously submitted works, and copyrighted content are not permitted. - Paint, pencil, marker, crayon, ink, felt, oil pastel, and other traditional media must be used to make 2D artwork. - Photos, collages, digital art, and mixed media employing newspapers or magazines are prohibited. - The artwork is not limited by size. - Group contributions are not permitted; only individual submissions are accepted. - Only one piece of art may be submitted by each participant. - Artwork cannot be entered into any other competition or past Science Without Borders challenges. - The 2026 theme must be strictly adhered to in all entries.
BENEFITS - A fantastic international stage on which young students can showcase their artistic abilities and inventiveness. - Gives top-performing participants recognition and appealing awards. - For each age group, the scholarship awards are $500 for first place, $350 for second, and $200 for third. - Includes a People’s Choice Award, which gives the most well-liked artwork in each age level a $50 scholarship. - Gives promising young artists vital exposure, recognition, and visibility on a global scale.
