What Is the Women in Tech Accelerator?
The Standard Chartered Foundation Women in Tech initiative supports women entrepreneurs building scalable technology ventures. The Egypt 2026 cohort focuses on startups that have demonstrated market validation and are ready to scale - with emphasis on investment readiness, business development, and access to finance and partner networks.
The first Egyptian cohort attracted 240 applications and supported 11 startups through 35+ training sessions and 40+ mentorship sessions. The 2026 edition builds on that track record with stronger investment-readiness support.

- Gender-diverse team with at least one female co-founder

- Demonstrates sustainable environmental, social, or economic impact through the technology
- Registered and operating in Egypt
