ELIGIBILITY - The Sumitomo Electric Global Internship is open to applicants from any country in the world. - Open to students pursuing a bachelor’s (BS) or master’s (MS) degree who are now enrolled in an approved university. - For academic and professional work, candidates should be at least somewhat proficient with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - To interact successfully in a global workplace, candidates must have great written and spoken English communication abilities.
BENEFITS - The applicant’s home or university country’s round-trip airfare to Japan is entirely supported. - For the duration of the internship, lodging is offered, guaranteeing a comfortable stay. - Throughout the program, daily meals are provided, which lowers personal living expenses. - When necessary, a train pass is given to help with local transit needs. - For the duration of the internship, comprehensive travel insurance is provided. - A weekly stipend is given to interns to aid with living and personal costs while they are in Japan. - After completing their internship successfully, exceptional interns may be given consideration for full-time employment opportunities with Sumitomo Electric.
