ELIGIBILITY - Candidates cannot be citizens of China. - Candidates must be citizens of the TWAS Developing Countries in the South’s list of qualified developing nations. - Candidates must speak Chinese or English fluently. - Candidates for PhD programs must be born on or after January 1, 1988. - Candidates must fulfill USTC or UCAS’s foreign student entrance requirements. - During the scholarship term, applicants are not permitted to work on any other projects or assignments. - Candidates who are presently enrolled in a PhD program at any Chinese university or establishment are ineligible.
