Full description, requirements, and what to expect

Do you want to attend a prestigious UK university as a Black British student from a low-income family? In collaboration with the University of Aberdeen, the Cowrie Foundation Scholarship 2025 - 2026 offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: a completely supported undergraduate degree plus a maintenance stipend of up to £8,000 year.

The goal of the Cowrie Scholarship Foundation (CSF) is to increase Black British students from socioeconomically underprivileged households’ access to higher education. In the next ten years, the Foundation hopes to assist more than 100 students in partnership with top UK universities, such as the University of Aberdeen.

The University of Aberdeen is one of the oldest and most prominent universities in the United Kingdom, having been established in 1495.Situated in Scotland, it provides a diverse array of undergraduate programs, top-notch research facilities, and an active, welcoming campus community.

In addition to offering financial aid, the scholarship gives recipients access to a caring community that values academic achievement, diversity, and inclusivity. It is a component of a larger initiative to advance social mobility and racial equality in the UK’s educational system, and it goes beyond simply providing cash.
