Applications are being accepted from eligible postgraduate students for two fully supported Master’s Graduate Research Assistantship jobs beginning in Fall 2025 at the University of Guelph’s Dry Bean Breeding & Computational Biology Lab in Canada. These jobs include full financial assistance, which includes a living stipend and tuition reimbursement. Selected students will get the chance to investigate job options in government, non-governmental organizations, and consultancy firms in addition to receiving comprehensive training in the discipline. Multi-omics techniques, such as genomics, epigenomics, and hyperspectral imaging, will be used in the study.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, genetics, plant science, bioinformatics, or a similar field
  • Exhibited enthusiasm and/or expertise in the fields of bioinformatics, plant genomics, and epigenetics
  • knowledge of methylome and genomic analysis tools, such as GWAS and EWAS
  • Excellent communication, writing, and analysis abilities
  • Capacity to operate both independently and cooperatively in a group environment
