ELIGIBILITY - Candidates must be younger than thirty when they apply. - Academic requirements:. - A bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, with a CGPA higher than 3.70 from an accredited university. - A minimum CGPA of 3.70/4.00 is required for a Master’s degree by research or a Master’s degree through mixed mode (dissertation and coursework). - Proof of English competence is required of international applicants:. - IELTS with a score of at least 6.5; or. - Between 73 and 93 on the TOEFL; or. - CEFR B2 level. - Note: The results of an English test are good for two years after the test date. - Candidates cannot have any other scholarships from sponsors or organizations. - Nation: Malaysia. - University of Malaya (UM) is the host university. - Program Level: Programs for PhDs. - Type of Funding: Complete financial support. - Overseas applicants are eligible. - Benefits :. - For 42 months, the Monthly living allowance will be RM 3,500. - Tuition fees are fully waived for each of the seven semesters. - Other Expenses: The University does not cover the cost of agreement documents, passports, visas, insurance, airline tickets, medical exams, or lodging. - Deadline : Currently Open.
