For the 2026 - 2027 academic year, the University of Missouri (Mizzou) is providing a range of scholarship possibilities for entering freshmen. These honors are intended to honor outstanding extracurricular involvement, leadership abilities, and academic achievement. Both domestic and foreign applicants can apply for scholarships, which offer both automatic rewards and competitive, merit-based choices, increasing the affordability and accessibility of high-quality education.

Eligibility criteria

5 requirements to review

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at the University of Missouri as a first-year student.
  • To be automatically considered for a scholarship, one must fulfill the academic excellence requirements (GPA and/or ACT/SAT benchmarks).
  • By December 1, 2025, candidates for competitive scholarships must submit their application documents via the official status site.
  • In order to be eligible for the Bright Flight Program, citizens of Missouri must have high ACT/SAT scores.
  • Every year, students must meet renewal requirements, such as maintaining the minimum required GPA and earning the required number of credit hours.
