ELIGIBILITY - This fully financed PhD scholarship at the University of Otago is open to both domestic and international candidates from New Zealand. - A master’s degree with at least 0.75 EFTS is required of applicants. - Candidates must be submitting their initial PhD application to the University of Otago. - Generally speaking, candidates should be pursuing their first PhD. - Overseas applicants need to achieve university grade requirements and have a solid academic record. - Candidates must exhibit potential and enthusiasm in research. - This scholarship requires a referral from the department head. - Candidates must fulfill the university’s standards for English language competency, including test results or supporting documentation as needed. - When applicable, all candidates must provide proof of their English competence. - New Zealand is the scholarship country. - University of Otago is the host university. - PhD Degree Programs at Course Level. - Financial Coverage: Complete financial support Overseas applicants Are Eligible to Apply. - Benefits :. - The University of Otago will waive tuition for up to 36 months for those who are accepted, with the exception of insurance and student services fees. - The majority of Otago scholarships provide an annual stipend of NZ$34,128 to Overseas applicants. - For a maximum of 36 months, professional PhD candidates are eligible for a tuition waiver capped at the domestic fee rate. - The chance to study overseas in New Zealand with complete financial assistance. - Exposure to international academic settings and a variety of cultures. - Additional financial assistance is given for PhD research projects. - Access to state-of-the-art worldwide research facilities. - Possibility of learning cutting-edge research methods, technology, and strategies.
