Program overview

Full description, requirements, and what to expect

Applications for the University of Queensland Vice Chancellor Scholarship from qualified local and international students wishing to study in Australia are presently being accepted. Under the University of Queensland Scholarship, qualifying Australian and international students pursuing relevant undergraduate degrees at the university can receive $60,000 in study support.

Having won more Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT) than any other Australian university, UQ places a high priority on teaching excellence. It also draws exceptional students from other states and countries, as well as the majority of Queensland’s top academic performers.

The goal of the University of Queensland Vice Chancellor Scholarship is to support and encourage overseas students who are enrolled or want to enroll in a degree program at the Australian university.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship, a component of the UQ Academic Scholarship program, was founded in 2009 and is supported by donations and funding from The University of Queensland.
