ELIGIBILITY - Must be a citizen of one of the ADB’s borrowing member nations in order to qualify for Japanese ODA scholarships. - Must be admitted to a partner institution’s authorized master’s program. - Must have a stellar academic record and a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. - After earning an undergraduate degree, one must have at least two years of full-time professional work experience. - Strong written and spoken English skills are required. - Must be under 35 at the time of application, unless the Japanese government grants an unusual waiver. - Must be in sound mental and physical condition. - After graduating, they must pledge to return home and work for at least two years in order to support national development. - ADB employees, consultants, executive directors, alternate directors, and members of their immediate families are not permitted. - Must not work for any organization that has been designated by ADB-JSP. - At the time of application, the applicant must not be living or working abroad. - Must not be enrolled in a graduate program already.
