ELIGIBILITY - Candidates must be residents and citizens of a nation in Sub-Saharan Africa. - Must have graduated from one of the participating partner universities under the Africa Health Collaborative with an undergraduate degree within the previous five years. - To pursue graduate courses at the University of Toronto, one must be able to prove a strong financial need. - Should have made significant academic progress throughout their time in school. - Must have a track record of involvement in extracurricular activities, community service, or leadership. - Should fulfill the academic and program-specific prerequisites for one of the University of Toronto’s qualified graduate programs. - To fulfill the linguistic requirements of the university, one must exhibit English proficiency. - Must demonstrate a strong desire to return to Africa after graduation in order to support social and economic advancement in their native continent.
BENEFITS - A fully financed scholarship that pays for all living and educational costs in Canada. - The program will pay for all tuition. - Passport and visa application fees, as well as travel costs to Canada, will be covered. - Included are lodging and full health insurance. - To assist with academic work, a laptop and course materials will be supplied. - Throughout the study period, all living expenses, including food and daily essentials, will be paid for.
