University of Twente Scholarship Value
The value of the scholarship is €3,000 - €22,000 for one year. The scholarship can be renewed for the second year when students meet the requirements for UTS.
Additional Scholarship (kipaji Scholarship)
The Kipaji scholarship is only for those students who also receive a UTS Scholarship. The value of the Kipaji scholarship is up to €12,000. Students should also meet the Kipaji scholarship requirements.

Uts Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- You need to gain an academic admission letter first.
- You have been (provisionally) admitted to one of the qualifying UT Master’s programs starting in the academic year 2026.
- After completing the application, it may take up to 8 weeks for the results.
- Obtain an entry visa.
- Satisfy the English language test requirement. Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT of 90) and an additional 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) on the subscore of speaking skills.
- The UTS is not available for EU/EEA students.
- The UTS is not available for Dutch and/or current UT students.
