On returning to Pakistan, Fulbright scholars are expected to make a significant contribution to Pakistan’s development and share their U.S. Experiences with students in Pakistan. USEFP offers many other fully funded programs at all levels such as the Fulbright degree program for Masters, and PhD, the Global UGRAD for Undergraduates, Humphrey, and FLTA, and TEA for Mid-career professionals. USEFP will also cover the full cost of ONE dependent. The rest of the dependents are the scholar’s responsibility.
Who Is Not Eligible.
- Those who completed a Ph.D within the last two years or who have been to the U.S. Visit for research or long-term education within the last five years.
- Dual U.S./Pakistan nationality.
- U.S. Citizen or permanent resident spouse, parent, or child over 18.
- Current or former USEFP or U.S. Department of State employee or dependent.
- Current student in the U.S. Or holding a work/residence visa in another country.
Note: English Proficiency Test is Not required.
Why Do You Need an Invitation Letter.
To apply for the Fulbright Scholar program, you must have at least one invitation letter from a U.S. University, and it needs to be submitted at the time of grant.
