Role Focus & Key Duties
The fellow supports library and knowledge services by collecting, analysing, and reporting data that informs decision-making. Typical duties include:
- Collect, validate, and manage quantitative and qualitative library / digital-collection data
- Monitor and analyse usage statistics from platforms, repositories, and websites
- Produce statistical reports for strategic and operational planning
- Identify usage trends and improvement opportunities
- Help develop and maintain KPIs for library services and digital initiatives
- Evaluate digital resources and services with evidence-based methods
- Assist with citation, bibliometric, altmetric, or research-impact data where relevant
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for internal stakeholders

Eligibility Requirements
- At least a first-level university degree in library science, information science, knowledge management, or a related field, plus a recognized professional qualification
- At least two years of professional experience in a library, knowledge management, research support, or related environment
- Experience collecting, managing, and analysing library or information-related data
- Experience with usage statistics, service metrics, or performance data
- Experience preparing analytical reports and presenting findings
- Experience with spreadsheet software and data analysis tools
- Excellent written and spoken English (other WIPO languages desirable)
Desirable extras often include ILS/repositories/discovery platforms, BI/dashboard tools, bibliometrics, and SQL/Python/R.
