Program overview

Full description, requirements, and what to expect

Elite athletes from all around the world are now eligible to apply for the World Aquatics Scholarships 2026 - 2027, which provide swimmers, divers, and other aquatic sports competitors with a fully funded opportunity for high-performance training in preparation for big international competitions like the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

Athletes that compete internationally but lack access to top-notch training facilities, are aiming to qualify for the World Championships, are getting ready for the 2028 Olympics, or need structured support and competent coaching are the target audience for this program.

The scholarship, administered by World Aquatics, is intended to support national-level athletes who lack access to top-notch training facilities back home. Access to foreign training facilities, professional coaching, help with competitions, lodging, insurance, and monthly stipends are just a few of the many benefits it offers.

The World Aquatics Scholarship Programme 2026 - 2027 is a fully sponsored athlete development project that aims to improve performance and prepare athletes for Olympic qualification events and World Championships, in contrast to a standard academic scholarship.
