Age Categories
- Junior: 10th Grade and below (and under 16)
- Youth: 11th - 13th Grade (or age 16+)
- Senior: 1st-year college/university and higher (or age 19+)
Your grade/age on the Qualification Round deadline (6 September 2026) locks your category for the whole competition.
Competition Rounds
- Qualification Round - open now; books, internet, and AI tools may help, but you must solve the problems yourself (full AI solutions are not allowed). Later rounds are supervised and tool-free.
- Semi-Final Round - supervised exam (including work tied to a research paper / further problems); 12 EUR registration; financial aid available.
- Final Round - supervised online final for top performers.
