Apply for the Global Logic & Reasoning Competition 2026 (GLRC) - an international online challenge for students who want to strengthen logical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Prize money totals over $1,500 USD, with international medals, national awards, honours, and certificates for all participants.

GLRC focuses on solving unfamiliar problems and evaluating information critically - skills that matter in an age of AI and information overload. You only need pen, paper, and internet for the online stages.

Age Categories

  • Junior: 10th Grade and below (and under 16)
  • Youth: 11th - 13th Grade (or age 16+)
  • Senior: 1st-year college/university and higher (or age 19+)

Your grade/age on the Qualification Round deadline (6 September 2026) locks your category for the whole competition.

Competition Rounds

  1. Qualification Round - open now; books, internet, and AI tools may help, but you must solve the problems yourself (full AI solutions are not allowed). Later rounds are supervised and tool-free.
  2. Semi-Final Round - supervised exam (including work tied to a research paper / further problems); 12 EUR registration; financial aid available.
  3. Final Round - supervised online final for top performers.

  • International 1st / 2nd / 3rd Prize medals and hard-copy certificates for top winners
  • National awards for top performers from each country (Final Round threshold applies)
