Apply for the Kaohsiung International Fellowship 2027 pathway at Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU) in Taiwan - a merit-based funded route for international students in medicine, pharmacy, nursing, and life sciences. Deadline for the Spring 2027 cycle: 12 October 2026 (17:00 Taiwan time).

KMU is Taiwan’s first private medical university. Through the KMU International Student Scholarship tracks (Types A - D), selected students can receive tuition support and - on higher tiers - accommodation help and a monthly stipend while studying in Kaohsiung.

Programme Overview

Applicants submit one online file for admission + scholarship. Awards are merit-reviewed each academic year. Admission alone does not guarantee funding, and students normally hold only one Taiwan scholarship package at a time.

Benefits

  • Type A (PhD focus): NTD 200,000 - 260,000 per year including stipend, housing coverage, and tuition
  • Type B (Master’s/PhD): NTD 80,000 - 140,000 per year for housing and tuition
  • Type C: NTD 70,000 - 80,000 per year toward tuition
  • Type D: Department-proposed support not exceeding Type A totals
