About the Accelerator
The MTH Accelerator is the startup programme of MediaTech Hub Potsdam - Germany’s de:hub digital hub for media technology. It connects early-stage MediaTech startups with Babelsberg’s media ecosystem, mentoring, coworking, investors, research partners, and visibility at events and trade shows.
MediaTech here means technologies for data processing, visualisation, interaction, and distribution - including AI, VR/AR, audio tech, and platforms across sectors (health, EdTech, logistics, Industry 4.0, and beyond), not only traditional film/media.

- Bootstrap Seedstrap - for founders building sustainably through own revenue; focus on sales, marketing, and profitability without immediate external-financing pressure.
- Investment Readiness - for startups preparing a funding round; focus on pitching, due diligence readiness, financials, and investor matching.

Eligibility
- Early-stage media-tech startups (solo founders or teams welcome)
- MVP and initial traction (users/revenue)
- Scalable tech business model (B2B SaaS focus; B2C also considered)
- Company already established or about to be (e.g. GmbH / UG / GbR)
- Based and operating in Germany (per programme call)
How to Apply
- Prepare a pitch deck (max. 15 pages) and answers to the application questions.
- Submit via the official MTH Accelerator application form by 31 October 2026.
- Shortlisted teams: ~60-minute interview with the accelerator team.
- Feedback within about four weeks of the deadline; accepted teams onboard for the December cohort.

Is it equity-free?
Yes. MTH does not take equity. It also does not provide direct cash funding, but offers investor access, coaching, and industry connections.
Do I need to be in Potsdam full-time?
No - the programme is primarily online, with a few in-person sessions. Coworking at the hub is available.
