ELIGIBILITY - For the 2026 - 2027 academic year, apply to SOAS University of London’s full-time MPhil/PhD program in Politics and International Studies with an emphasis on multidisciplinary research and global challenges. - Candidates must have a master’s degree with merit or distinction or be in the process of earning one or an equivalent globally recognized degree that demonstrates strong academic aptitude and research potential. - In order to successfully participate in academic work and research, candidates who did not get their prior education in English must achieve the university’s English language competency criteria. - A varied and worldwide cohort of scholars can apply for the studentship since it is accessible to all qualified applicants, including both domestic (UK) and Overseas applicants. - In line with the goals of the “Pan-African Frontiers” project, candidates should exhibit a strong interest in or experience in Pan-African studies, global justice, political transformation, or similar multidisciplinary subjects. - Additionally, ideal applicants will demonstrate the ability to teach, collaborate academically, and contribute to international scholarly networks, which will enhance their own growth as well as the program’s overall impact.
