Applications are open for the Stanford University Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC) Fellowship 2027 - 2028. CISAC fellows spend the academic year in residence at Stanford engaged in research and writing, seminars, and collaboration with leading faculty on complex international security challenges.
Applicants are considered for all tracks for which they are eligible (including AI & armed conflict, AI strategic stability, geopolitics of AI, India - U.S. security, natural sciences/engineering security, nuclear security, and international security). Deadline: 2 December 2026. Predoctoral stipends are comparable to Stanford Graduate Fellowships; postdoctoral and junior faculty/professional stipends are commensurate with experience.
