ELIGIBILITY - Open to both Australian citizens and foreign applicants globally, there are no limits based on nationality. - Must apply for and fulfill the prerequisites for a University of Melbourne graduate research program. - Current students who are enrolled in Melbourne’s graduate research program are also qualified. - A completed bachelor’s degree (16 years of schooling) or its equivalent with at least 75% marks is required for Master’s/MPhil (by research) programs. - A completed master’s degree (18 years of schooling) or its equivalent with at least 75% of the possible points is required for a PhD. - Must exhibit a good aptitude for research. - Applicants should be in good health. - English must have been used to complete the last degree. - Nation: Australia. - Coverage of finances: Completely funded. - Benefits :. - Full tuition fee coverage - up to 2 years for Master’s by research, and up to 4 years for PhD programs. - Living stipend of $38,500 per year (2025 rate): up to 2 years for Master’s, and up to 3.5 years for PhD students. - Stipend includes limited paid leave (parenting, sick, and maternity). - Relocation allowance: $2,000 for students from outside Victoria, and $3,000 for Overseas applicants arriving from overseas. - Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) - single membership for Overseas applicants. - Chance to study at one of Australia’s top-ranked universities. - Networking and research opportunities with global peers. - Experience of living and exploring Australian culture. - Scholarships provide career advancement and international opportunities.
