Graduate Programs

• Successful applicants typically join Osaka University as research students for 6 to 12 months. If they pass the entrance exam during this period, they can then enroll in a master’s or doctoral program.
• Nationality: Non-Japanese with diplomatic ties to Japan.
• Age: Generally born after April 2, 1990 (rare exceptions).
• Academic: Bachelor’s equivalent (16 years of education, or a 3+ year degree from abroad).
• Language: Willingness to learn Japanese and adapt.
• Health: Certified good health.
• Arrival: Must arrive early April 2025 or Sept/Oct 2025 (depending on term).
