This flagship award offers exceptional students full financial support as they start their undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto.

Eligibility criteria

5 requirements to review

  • Must be a protected person, permanent resident, or citizen of Canada.
  • Currently enrolled in either the first year of CEGEP or the last year of high school in Canada.
  • Plan to enrol in college in 2026 (or following a gap year that has been allowed).
  • Their secondary school must nominate them for the U of T National Book Award.
  • Must submit an application by October 17, 2025, to at least one University of Toronto undergraduate program.

Benefits & funding

4 perks included · Fully Funded

  • For a maximum of four years of study, all tuition costs are reimbursed.
  • Included in the scholarship package are incidental fees.
  • For the whole program, residence fees are entirely subsidised.
  • Finalists will receive Arbour Scholarships, which are worth $7,500 in the first year and $1,500 annually for the next three.
