This PhD, Postdoctoral program in Central Europe offers fully funded. The application deadline is 31 May 2026.

KEY DETAILS - Location: Central Europe - Program level: PhD, Postdoctoral - Funding: Fully Funded - Deadline: 31 May 2026

ELIGIBILITY - Must be a resident and citizen of one of the qualifying nations, such as Slovakia, Poland, Czechia, Hungary, or Ukraine. - Must possess a doctorate (PhD) degree or be presently enrolled in a PhD program. - Mandated to conduct study outside of their home country in a Visegrad nation. - Must have a verified host institution and a clearly outlined research project. - Participation in the fellowship is expected to take place in person; remote participation is only allowed under special conditions.

BENEFITS - Offers a €500 weekly stipend to cover costs associated with research. - Provides a fellowship length of up to ten weeks with a maximum total payment of €5,000. - Two payments of funding are given out: 80% before the start of the fellowship and the remaining 20% following the satisfactory completion and submission of the necessary outputs. - The stipend is adaptable and can be applied to everyday living expenditures, lodging, and travel expenses while visiting. - Intended to reduce financial strain so fellows can concentrate entirely on their research endeavors. - There is no requirement for a rigid budget breakdown, allowing fellows to manage their money as they see fit.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS - Applicants are required to submit a research proposal outlining their project. - A valid identification document, such as a passport or national ID, must be provided. - Proof of PhD enrollment or a completed doctoral degree is necessary. - An official invitation letter from the host institution must be included. - A recommendation letter is also required to support the application. - All documents must be prepared and submitted in English.
