About the Fellowship
Reproductive rights enable people to make informed decisions about their bodies and reproduction. Women and girls still face legal, social, cultural, economic, and healthcare barriers. This fellowship equips journalists with tools, knowledge, and mentorship to challenge false narratives and support systemic change through storytelling.
Each fellow produces one original story on reproductive rights - lived realities, contributing factors, barriers to access, and solutions - for publication during the 16 Days of Activism, to educate the public and push for legislative and institutional accountability across Africa.
